A first grade teacher was recently arrested while attempting to buy methamphetamine while she was at school. Not feeling the energy to reach her kids that day, she took decided to set up a deal to buy some meth with an undercover narcotics officer.
The narcotics officer, not taking pity on her lack of energy, did not deliver the drugs to her at the school but waited until after school to meet up and sell her the 3.5 grams of meth and then proceeded to arrest her.
Valerie Prince was ultimately charged with possession of methamphetamine, removed from the school, and is being independently investigated by the schools’ district. Should the investigation result in her being able to return to work, she’ll be assigned duties that have no contact with children, a tough feat considering the location of her workplace.
